But I think you should make the move, it's better for your career and your future, don't worry about getting stuck, the only people who get stuck in shit-towns are people who allow themselves to get stuck...You won't, because you love Austin too much and you're just too smart to stay there past its expiration date. |

Take the small town job, it might only be for a few months and if you have all your moving expenses covered, and can take a huge dent out of the debts, do it. It's not going to be forever, meanwhile keep looking in Austin and hope that the top place there will have openings for you to continue looking. Also this other position will likely boost your skills and resume so you will have that experience under you more than you have now giving you the extra edge to reapply for the first job.

Move and take the job and look for openings back in Austin whether you hate it or not. Two hours isn't so long that you can't get used to making the trip frequently if you want to stay involved in the city.
