so, 1986ish, these guys move into the studio next to us and they sound JUST LIKE WAKE! (they said it was grind core, drop C)

We thinks they're kidding, we're playing power pop/metal no-hair or glam, most of the bands are working club bands, 43 rooms in The Garden.

So after a couple of days we go over, push their door open and look and they look like homeless criminals. One of them was surely a paranoid schizophrenic. They lasted about 7 months. Sometime later my brother saw the basser on the San Jose light rail talking to himself, looking pretty bad.
