It's weird. I absolutely do not want kids, but if somehow stumbled into owning one of them I'd be a fucking awesome dad guy.

I think aiming for mediocrity and achieving it should be good enough.

I think I'd be a good parent evennnntually.... when I'm good and ready enough to be truly patient and raise them right (which I have NO doubt I'll be able to raise my singular child fabulously... living a liberal, gay-friendly, practical yet hippie-style lifestyle, using all the child-raising knowledge I learned from TV ). I'm an only child and I have a theory: never have more kids than you have hands to hold them... and assuming one hand is holding your god damned overpriced cellphone, you better not have more than one.

I turn 26 in November and I have no desire yet to have a child. I work at a ymca and have kids and babies around me all the time and I'll experience that little moment where I'm like "awwww. It's so cute and waddle-y." and then I remember that it grows up to be that self-important teenage asshole who claims NO responsibility, tries to steal, sneaks in to the building, whines and bitches at me all day, etc..... Yeahhhhh.... I'm gonna pass on parenthood for now. :-/

I kinda love you right now!

People look at me a lil' sideways when I say we just want one...now I have the perfect smart-arse response.

I think I'll be pretty awesome when the time comes...I've got a few good years left in me before the baby-maker dries up and for now I'm still really into incredible vacations and spending money on myself.

I don't think, I know I'm not that great of a parent.

Besides leaving my entire family and moving 3,000 miles to be here for my daughter, when I only found out she was going to be born a month before, and I was only 17 at the time.

I'm here for her, but I'd consider my Father in law to be a better Father than I am, mostly because I am barely an adult still.

I thought I'd be a good parent.

Then I had kids.

LOL. I'm glad I could help! It's good to not be the only person that wants only 1 child.
