Does anyone agree that Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah is a pretentious piece of shit?

Either way it's pretentious.

Can't believe it was used at a memorial service.

lyrics along with the video. I don't mind this version of the song. It has way more direct heartbreak built into it. Plus Wainwright is a flamin' homo, so it conveys a message of sincerity.

It still irks me that this would be used for a prayer service, as opposed to a real prayer.
