Dream interpretation: I should have come here first

My yahoo answers account just got suspended today for asking for an interpretation of my dream. I'm appealing the decision. I didn't post here first because I was at work and yahoo won't raise a red flag on the server the same as logging into KATG would. Here was the post:

What does my dream mean?

I dreamed that I went on a KATG camping trip. Chemda was teaching archery and Keith brought a magic ice chest. Keith could reach into the ice chest and pull out a frosty bottle of any beer that he wanted, but it only gave cans of warm Miller High Life to everyone else. During the night, we were attacked by a chocolate golem that could turn invisible using sound waves. I ended up having to choke it to death while Dan Savage moved around the camp making sure everyone stayed quiet.

It rained later on and flooded the camp, so I had to leave. On the way home I stopped at a mall. I accidentally walked into the middle of a street performance group of vampire ninjas. Their leader was very upset, and it turned out that he was a Ninja Vampire Emperor from Japan. As punishment for insulting him, I was required to assist his daughter. The princess wanted to put on a fashion show and needed a bartender. She asked me to go to a specific restaurant and get a job tending bar so that I could learn the craft.

I went to the restaurant but the hiring manager wasn't there and they asked me to come back the next day. As I left the place, a group of people in costumes showed up and were stopped by the bouncer. Ogre from Revenge of the Nerds was there and asked me and the bouncer if we wanted to LARP with them in the parking lot. I declined and returned to the princess. She was so upset that I didn't get the job that she started choking me by shoving a pickled stalk of dill down my throat.

I woke up then and my throat was hurting on the inside like it had been scratched up. What does my dream mean? Should I go to the doctor to see if I swallowed something in my sleep? Or should I just stop drinking?

P.S. - Now that you've read it, I've been awake for 11 hours, I can safely say that nothing is missing from my bedside and I haven't died of internal bleeding. I most definitely didn't try to swallow my phone, phone charger or TV remote. I've never dreamed about choking before and this dream had it twice. So, is there some greater meaning to this dream or do I have a drinking problem?

I'm not sure. There are 2 references to choking, 2 references to alcohol (magic ice chest & bartending), and 4 references to adversity (the golem, the flood, the ninja vampires, and getting a job).

One would have to give weight to the most frequent, but that would all be fantasy or stuff no one can control. Therefore, the dream means nothing.

But I really want that magic ice chest.

Maybe you were sleeping on your back, snoring (which can give you a sore throat) and a little sleep apnea, choking off your air supply as you sleep

I woke up feeling dehydrated in the middle of the night last night. I was having a dream right then that I was lost in a desert.

I often wake up dehydrated, but I didn't this morning.
