Is Hilary really the front runner?

I look around and the republicans have shit. The only good ones aren't electable because they aren't getting the press coverage and we in America don't think fo rourselves. We vote for who the news tells us we should vote for.

Barack Obama is her only competition and I think he will be the president someday but not this time. I think it will be a Clinton/Obama ticket that wins.

I am a right wingnut but 8 years of Hillary and then 8 years of him might wake up the people on my side of the political ting. Reagan conservativism has died among the candidates with money.

What ever happened to John McCain? Is he just lying in wait? I thought he was pretty assured of the Republican nomination.

I think people have caught on that he is retarded and not really a republican although he is probably the most qualified. Also, the two that the news are pushing are Romney and Guiliani. Those two are fake rock stars riding the wave..

Actually it is waaayyy early for any of this but.. I just look at all of them and Hillary just looks presidential. I don't believe anything she says but she does the one thing that gets people elected in this country. She fits into wherever she is like a chameleon. She goes south and has a southern drawl. Goes north and speaks yankee. Goes to Washington D.C. and speaks like a politician. And everybody just eats it up. I say she's a lock.

I don't think Guiliani could get elected anywhere outside of New York City. His past is too sorted, he fails every morality test, he'll lose badly in the south and is too republican to be embraced by northern democrats who hate putting republicans into national office.

If France elects Royal they're doomed. I read her proposals a while ago (can't find them now) and apparently she wants to fund huge public spending with projected the meagre growth France gets, and basically wants to make labour laws more rigid. Bleh. Maybe if she gets elected it will kick socialism out of France for good.

..and slightly off topic, but did that little rant on Da Bomb about walmart not letting workers form unions bother anyone? The source seemed incredibly biased. iirc the article said something like unfair US labour laws means walmart can get away with it, which I think it should, as it's not getting away with anything, it's the one paying the workers and it should be it's decision whether or not to hire union labour, and the article Keith was reading made it sound like it was a human right to be able to form unions. RTFM. [/mini rant]
