If they go unionized, they would have to bump up prices and lose profitability. Some stores are highly profitable. Others just barely make a profit. Add unions, and Walmart would close those stores just to keep stockholders happy. However, if Walmart is going to keep fucking people over and treat them like animals, then going unionized is the next logical step so that they employees will have more of a voice.

Yep. If businesses want to be great, they need to treat their people great. If they don't, the employees will start pushing for more. Once it reaches that point where lawyers are involved and negotiations are going on all the time, you will slowly sink into medicority and the next company will rise up.

This just means they don't recognize the right of someone to negoiate on behalf of a large group of employees, doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to form a collective.
