You guys realize that white+red=pink, right? So white meat + blood ground finely together will look pink.

I'm not saying you should automatically trust commenters, but you also shouldn't automatically jump to conclusions about a photo you have no idea where it came from.
I took it to mean that carcasses sans butchered usable parts (leg, thigh, wing, breast) were put through the sieve you know leaving the back, neck and ribcage. Not that a whole chicken with usable sellable parts was put through the machine.

It's the base for McDonalds' strawberry milkshakes. It just so happens when you fry it it turns into chicken nuggets.

I haven't heard that version of the urban legend, that the shake is chicken. I've heard the one that it's just sweetened potato's.

Truth be told it is actually dairy as much as you want to make them out as doing really gross things to save a few bucks.
