Idea for a thread/activity/nerdy thing.

1. One person chooses a movie, we all do some downloading/netflixing and watch it.

2. We say what we thought of it in this thread, or at least say we saw it.

3. The person who chose the last movie picks someone who has recently commented in the thread to pick the next one.

Sound like a plan? Could be a good way to discover new stuff.

It's like a book club, but without the pesky reading, and without the bitchy acquaintance leaving me nasty voicemails when I'm late for high-dollar brunch at "hip" new eateries?

Sounds perfect. I'm in.

Eateries do actually sound good though. We have to all promise to eat pizza during the movie.

Should I go first, given that it was my massive, sexy brain that constructed this idea?

Motion passed. Great work, club.

As it's been so long since I last saw it, and I'm starting to get excited about moving there, my choice was going to be Lost in Translation. But that would be a betrayal of my true love, sci-fi.

Which is why I pick Surrogates. It should be easy enough to find through various means.

For my pick this week I choose Son Of Rambow. It is about kids who make a film after watching Rambo. Kinda like Super 8 only with Rambo and not Close Encounters.
So watch this along with the other two (yet to be named movies)
