You can do it, DudeEMETIB... but only if you explain what the f your name is about. And how am I supposed to pronounce that? EDIT: And yes, I finished the movie. I thought it was really engaging, and definitely eye-opening. But I don't have anything interesting to say about it that hasn't already been said. There. MOVIE #2: OUT! |

Yeah I guess Brian revealed the mystery for you, it's Dude(BiteMe). You can pronounce it like that, Dude Bite Me, or just think of me as "Dude" for short. 8ish years ago, DudeEMETIB was my name for all my internet doings, around the time I made my account here, I had officially changed most of my online things to EddieFSM. But I hadn't ever really belonged to a forum, so I kept my old DudeEMETIB for this place for the privacy.
Soon after I figured I didn't care if anyone here knows my name is Eddie, but I didn't feel like making a new account. I kind of forgot the last person to pick the movie picks the next person, so now I'm kinda more excited to get to choose the next lucky person than I am the movie! lol. I'll be right back with a movie...

All right, the last movie had been sitting on my queue for a while, Surrogates had come on and off it...so for the third movie I guess I'll pull out something else that's been sitting in my queue demanding to be watched.
Moon (2009) "As he nears the end of a lonely three-year stint on the moon base Sarang, astronaut Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) begins to hear and see strange things. It's not long before Sam suspects that his employer -- the conglomerate LUNAR -- has other plans for him. Featuring Kevin Spacey as the voice of a robot, this sci-fi thriller also stars Matt Berry and Kaya Scodelario. The film was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival." Here's a link to the Netflix page, it's on Instant Watch. Moon - Netflix *I've heard a lot of good things about it, hopefully not everyone here has seen it. bummer. 2x in a row ive seen before film club (but that is expected with the shear amount of movies i watch).
review without spoilers: this movie, despite the boring and vague description is really really good. i love sam rockwell and hes awesome in this. the plot is alot better than the description posted makes it out to be. and the less you know about it the better you are going into it. enjoy. review with spoilers: the whole clones thing was brilliant especially since i thought it was going to be some shitty alien cop out half way through like with WARNING Inception spoiler (Spoiler within a spoiler) Knowing. |
