Thieves have descended upon our most beloved Patrice!

"So what ha'happen was" (I added that intro for effect) "found out yesterday that even though I love the hood the hood doesn't love me. The Bank let me know that someone had decided I didn't need a bit under 1800 that was in my account. They basically got a hold of a replacement bank card that was being sent early to replace my soon to expire card...I blame the hood because we've been having problems with mail being stolen, typically anything that looks like a check.

The cash was for me to move mid to late August to a nicer part of BK (Prospect Heights). Because in addition to mail stealing we've had constant police in the building and some sort of The Wire style drug/black market cigarette ring operating out of the courtyard in the center of the building. I am now severely lacking on funds to get out of the hood and into this apt."

Sooooo, I'm remembering the "Give Patrice a Doller" day, and that did surprisingly well. This time, it would probably help to give more than a dollar if you could, but send your favorite guest whatever love you can!

Thanks everyone...For the first time I've gone to deep into the hood..it's crazy the difference just a few blocks from here...
