I think I might be sadder than he is (not really, but I'm really sad). It would've been a great chance for him, but mainly I'm selfish because I wanted an easy way to see more of his performances

So how did he do?

He seemed really off for him. He had to have been extra nervous, or something. He was immediately thrown off by the crowd's reaction to his "joke" about the previous performance (it had worked for him during auditions but did not in the following round). From there his pacing was off, and he used a joke that doesn't fit in well in a small bit (He used his children should not exist bit which is great, but not when you're only throwing in like 3 other jokes with it, especially when at least one judge is a hardcore mother). He also joked about his attire being sharp (context not included here but can be found on hulu) but he was wearing a not "sharp" outfit (he looked damn good, as always, don't get me wrong, but not the level of sharp he needed for that joke)

Frankly I think his set was too short, and other acts seemed to get way more time than him. If he had more time and wasn't thrown off (thus pacing being thrown off) there's no doubt he'd have gotten further. We all know he's amazing. I hope the exposure was good for him though, and if he actually wants to win that I hope he tries again next year. His tweets have been fucking hysterical and his newer material has been great. He could win, and I'd go to Vegas for that. (Actually I'll go to the vicinity for legal hookers, but he'd be a bonus)

I legit doubt he'll ever get around to reading this. I'm not *that* worried. Plus despite anything that could be considered negative, he has to know that there is nothing but fangirl affection who's annoyed he didn't win.
