I am not normally allowed to miss work for vacations or whatnot in the first week of the month, but my boss gave me permission to return to Hawaii for a family event over Memorial Day and the week after. I am soooooo excited to go home for the first time in a year and a half!!!!

Today is bagel day at work, which means I get out of the lab for an hour to get the bagels. And it's payday! Double awesome!

My lawyer says the police will drop charges against me because they won't have a case if they don't find the weapon, and as yet they still haven't even looked anywhere near the right place. So ... pretty relieved and happy.
