Spoilers, I guess..?
As soon as Olly came in to his office I was like "nope. This is not gonna end well. That kid's been waiting." When Snow gave him that speech about how sometimes you have to do what you think is right even if everyone else says its wrong (or something) a few episodes back I could see the wheels turning where he was taking that and twisting it into "it's okay to fuck me over even though im telling you im doing whats right for everyone." Oh well. I honestly wasn't shocked or heartbroken when it went down. I took Baratheon's daughter's death harder than Snow's. I'm just over it. This isn't "The Starks". It's Game of Thrones. There's plenty of other characters and families to focus on. Did Reek and Sansa jump into a snow drift or something? Even in the 15 mins where the writers talk about the episode after, they didn't mention she was dead but I really thought they'd off'ed themselves.

I think Sansa and Theon survived that jump. It's hard to imagine them surviving a fall that far, but I suppose the writers could say it was a really deep snow bank. Theon pushing that bitch over the railing was awesome though.

The last guy we saw lying in a rapidly growing puddle of his own blood after a good chopping was Grey Worm. This episode? Up and about happy as you please.
Last season we saw The Mountain chopped up real nice. This episode? Up and about happy as you please. A while ago we saw a Red God priest bring a dude back from the dead after The Hound chopped him up real nice. This episode? A Red God priestess arrives at The Wall a few hours before Jon Snow gets chopped up. Coincidence? Doubt it bro. |

So,
Zombies attack and thousands of people try to escape. But when Jon Snow comes, there is an empty boat waiting to pick him up. Luckily everyone knows that zombies cant swim or throw, so they dont even need to row. When they then come to the wall, the bad guy rather lets them first in and then later kill Jon for bringing the wildling in, instead of like not letting them in. When the Hydra guy attack the arena, the two most badass fighters and some unsullied cant climb over a 2,20 m wooden door. As long as the dragon is in the arena and getting all attention from the bad guys, the queen and her guys seem to be in high danger. But once the dragon leaves, they all get out savely. The Hydra guys also dont throw spears at peolpe, only dragons. And in wise foresight that she will not have any further use for a pointy tool (her "key to freedom"), Sansa leaves it behind. But its a great show ![]() |

The Door
This episode was brilliant. LOVE how Weiss kills a main character, but gives a little consolation in the form of Hodor's background.
I always wondered why Hodor would say, (exclusively) "ho-door." Apparently he was traumatized by holding that door. "Hold Door." But this makes me wonder about Weiss's writing. He must have known, since the very beginning, that he'd be including this science fiction-y aspect of Bran's ability to jump around in time. It's brilliant really. Still making my way through season 6, but very impressed. RIP Hodor. Hodor. HODOR!!! |
