It was pretty easy to get the basics down at least! As with most things vocabulary is the hardest part...
Ich mochte (missing umlaut) in Deutschland wohnen... aber Ich graduierte nur dieses Jahr vom Uni. Ich habe keine Wahl, wo ich wurde (missing umlaut) leben. |

German is hard. I'm half German but only spoke English with my dad until I moved here at 23 and learned it properly. My grammar still sucks. The first year did my head it. They have 6 ways of saying "the". @Lanfear, ich schicke dir ein pm, es würde mich freuen mit jemanden eine trinken zu gehen der versteht was ich meine wenn ich über KATG laber. |

You know, I keep saying that the four years of German I took in high school didn't stick one bit, but I could kind of piece together parts of those posts. It's weird how our brains just accumulate clutter. I'd like to know German or not know German; having an Indiana Jones movie level of German doesn't do anything for me.

In the 3 years of high school German I had I forgot almost everything. One of the few phrases I remember is "Der Verbindung is schlect"
So, on the off chance I find myself on a German payphone.... I'm really hoping for a bad connection
