Don't know, but last year Aus consumed more chicken than beef for the first time ever. Nearly all out of the chicken factories of course.

My local supermarket was selling happy chickens for $10 each a few weeks back
The last 12 weeks I have had 4 beef /lamb /pork dishes the rest has been chicken

can chicken be fat free? surely not. it sure as hell shouldn't be, anyway.

agreed on the organic point, though.

Also, chickens back in western-land freak me out. I've got used to picking meat from bones in chicken in Asia, and now coming back to these huge un-natural chunks of chicken breast-meat is weird. Meat was a lot more natural in Asia. Often it was killed in front of me, too. I think that's cool. If you eat meat, you should be able to kill the animal to get the meat.
