Jericho, Dead Like Me, Firefly, House, Lost (believe me this season alone makes it worth while!), Prison Break, Medium.

Well that's it for now when it comes to good series in my book. Succes!

Even though last season was a bit of a step back, 24 has always been one of my favorite shows. The american version of The Office is hilarious as is South Park.

And how about them 'Republican Space Rangers'?

After you watch The Wire you're not going to need any more shows, that one is the best.

Battlestar Galactica - stick with it. Favourite show of all time for me.

Summer Heights High - an Aussie comedy, shot like a documentary. Hilarious.

Firefly - Fantastically awesome. Shame there was only 1 season

Lucky Louie - Also fantastically awesome. Shame there was only 1 season

Lost - I can quit it no matter how hard I try.

Since you like Sci-fi I recommend Farscape (I can't recommend this enough), also since you like british stuff you may enjoy Black Adder, Red Dwarf and Torchwood (a spinoff of Doctor Who). You might also want to try out Eureka.

This show is a comedy, but it's the one I always recommend that you probably haven't heard of.
Peep Show.
Unfortunately you have to steal it (torrent) unless you live in the UK or Ireland, then you can watch every episode at Channel 4's site.
