brand loyalty is good - unless it's not my brands (very unlikely circumstance)

I have gotten into the habit of making sure that I have a bottle of both the red and the white wines when I go to a friend's house for dinner and I make *everyone* try it

Where's the option that says, "I don't drink wine but I get my girl friends hammered on it."?

I drink wine 2-3 times a week with dinner, but is not beverage of choice..

My wine selections are usually dependant on whats for dinner but if I am drinking wine just to have wine I am a red drinker (Zinfadel [not the pink shit], Pinot Noir, or Cab)

I do often give wine as a gift, when liquor preferance is unknown. For friends that do not drink at all.... they get nothing...

Where to start... Constance, you've seen me on paltalk. I do not discriminate when it comes to booze.

Mr D & I got married at Caprock Winery in Texas. They had several award winning wines, but financial problems put the winery out of business about 2 years ago. We quickly bought several cases of the Caprock Winery Reserve Cabernet Savignon and serve them to our guests here in Arizona for special occasions. If you live in TX and can find a Caprock wine still available, it is absolutely worth it!

I do enjoy wine a lot. Primarily red. I drank too much KJ Chard at a wedding in 1995 (I recall because it had just come onto the market and I had just turned 21) and fell into the pool. White wine to this day give me headache if I have more than one glass.

MR D just started working in a 4 star rated restaurant with a Sommelier and has been undergoing a lot of wine training. We have found - in terms of wine - that we drink what we like. We taste tested a $200 bottle of wine and a $17 bottle of wine and liked them both equally and could not guess which one was expensive. So we will continue to buy inexpensive wines and drink all the free stuff he gets from work. I will say that Rancho Zabaco Zinfandel & Hogue Cellars Merlot have always been a favorite.

I love a good anejo tequila - preferrably Herradura. Patron is overrated and is not true mexican tequila for all those out there that think it is gold. Only pure agave raised, produced, bottled, and managed in Mexico is authenitc.

Vodka is so varied... Beh. Whatever.

Red Hook ESB & Sierra Nevada Pale Ales are my beers of choice at the moment.

Bailey's is good over ice cream Josh. But for a man to be drinking over ice... Seems a little suspicious. Did you say you were engaged to a man or a woman?

So to sum it up. I like alcohol. I drink it lots. I probably need help. But in the meantime... I hope this helps you Constance! Anything for KATG. Sacrifice the liver!

I am very brand loyal, I definately know what likes me.
Mostly chardonnay, champangne and certain white blends.
Never Sauv Blanc, or Gewürztraminer , but I just love the spicy.
We'll have to do some kind of tasting in NYC...
