The rest of the world gets the iPad, finally!

Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK all get them today, anyone picking one up?

Apple plans to release iPad in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore in July.

Haha, New Zealand! How's THAT for living in the future? Neener neener neener!

Ugh, so sick of hearing about iPads. No flash, censored apps, and a shitty company with effed up ethics. Look up the Dell Streak, which will undoubtedly be competing with the iPad and running the Google Android OS which now supports full flash.

I too am sick of hearing about the iPad.

Thats why I'm switching to a car battery strapped to a desktop.

(comparing the iPad, a complete and shipping and wildly successful device to a dell project thats not even close to shipping based on what you think it might do is dumb)

You complain about Apple's "effed up ethics" then go right into promoting a Dell. Which means you obviously know absolutely nothing about Dell.

I would support something else if there were an Android-powered tablet out yet. The Dell Streak is as close as it comes to an Android-based competition. I'm more a fan of the Android platform than Dell itself.
