you're right, i might have come down too harsh on Marc and i agree he wouldn't care at all about me, but his judgement on Apatow's comedy seemed a little out of caracter for Marc himself, as i've always seen him as a mast-comedy guy, where Judd's sence of humor was more on "stoners getting fucked up and can't get laid" side of comedy

That audience is not a KATG audience. Hollywood is full of terribly insecure people. People at awards shows make fun of each other, but they don't go as far to really dig at each other the way Ricky did. I thought Ricky was hilarious, but I am not in Hollywood and I am not part of the HFPA. I enjoyed Ricky's comedy, but I also knew it didn't fit with that audience. I agreed with Apatow's statements. I can see it from many ways, you know.
