thanks... i am currently working on the streaming part... its an easy month at work, so got some free time
![]() finnaly starting to get a hang of it... just have the problem that once i get about 25mb loaded in cache, it crashes as there is no space left on the device... i got to figure out how to clear it... once i get the streaming part more less done i'll post a version on the web for anyone who wishes to try. EDIT: in the meantime, if you want to stream the show on your android phone, streamfurious works great for me...

Awesome job - gave me some ideas for the app (non-profit edu) I'm starting to layout for work.
One annoyance - which I only noticed tonight. There is no option to turn off the push notification sound effect. Of course I may be missing something. I use my iPhone as an alarm clock (both at home and on the road). I had to delete the app for now because the test messages kept waking me up - have to get on the road early in the morning. Again, it's something small and may not even be an issue at all - I may just be an idiot. Keep up the great work. |

You can turn off some or all elements of the notifications for apps by going to the "Settings" app on your phone, choose "Notifications", then the KATG.com app. From there you can shut off whatever parts you want turned off.
There's got to be a better way to test app notifications. I imagine many other people are going to not know how to shut them off and will delete the app as well. Quote:

Was aware of that. I need it to ring if there is a call - part of my job. Turning off audio notifications is exactly what I needed. Thanks again to hexix and arty.
There are certain situations where that particular audio notification is not appropriate and phone calls are - like in a business meeting. |
