KATG was "mentioned" on a local news magazine show called "Evening Magazine" on a NBC affiliate here in Seattle, WA. I said "mentioned" because I only caught the tail end of the segment so I don't know what was said during the segment, all I heard was something like "Keith and the girl, check them out," and they showed a clip of an episode of the video podcast.

I really wonder if such things have a direct and immediate effect on the website's stats.

Shit! I get that up here in BC. I wonder if they'll replay it today. Maybe their website has something. spaceboy, a new mission for you...

As a single mention, I don't think it matters whatsoever.
As an part of a growth event, I say record, take the data point.
It's just a single point.
A single data point however is a poinit, sooner or later someone will care bout it.

Couldn't find anything on the Evening Magazine website, but a quick google news search brought this up:

It's not much, just a podcasting awards mention, but it's something.
