Or if you can do it in paint, it's much easier to do it in photoshop..

What do you always say spook? It's all about the right tools for the job...

she mentioned the money issue, photoshop is expensive, and maybe she didnt want to pirate a copy. so i offered another solution. the right tools for the job are good to have, but if this is all she ever does, than maybe a high end tool isnt whats right in this situation.

maybe it is, i dont know for sure, but in a pinch, on someone elses computer at a job, using msPaint, i photoshopped in several peoples heads into a gay sex image, color timed the images to be consistent, altered a portion of the image, adjusted the contrast and brightness of the image, and dropped in some text. i did it all in msPaint, no problem, but since im used to using hotkeys, it probably took me an extra ten minutes.

just an alternative solution. dont hamstring yourselves only being able to work in a single application environment. its not healthy.

Spook, my man! I didn't even know MS Paint was on my computer; it didn't show up under applications. It'll take some playing around, but i think it'll work for what I want.

Razor, you're right about Photoshop. I'm sure the programmer deserves the$$ but.. I'm too cheap to lay out the $$

The forums come through!

Right on!

Gimp offers the same functionality and costs nothing ( a donation would be nice though...)
You need a small adjusting period for both of them, btw.
You should look around for some starter guides.

Gimp is great, I used a while ago, but ended up buyin (Borrowing) Corel Paint Shop Pro.

PSP works great, and I use only 20% of the product compared to only 10% of Photoshop

I am sorry!

I didn't want to be branded as a communist geek that uses so-called "free" alternatives to good capitalist products! Free Software undermines capitalism and thus helps Twerrorwists!! Just at the money you don't pay to download movies from your favorite torrent site somehow, magically, helps terrorists.

So, remember children; pay for movies and software and never, never use free alternatives that are not capitalist!

heh!
