With 911 ignoring the call, cops escorting a minor who ran a red light to an accident (and never even asking for the license), the hospital granting midnight visits and willing to wake a patient up "if it was important", Internet connectivity in the hospital itself...

Like I said, I'm sure Lexi, Oats, and Johnny are fine.

THEY SAID YOU LIED?!! Jesus Fucking Christ!. A woman died here in Detroit because they thought it was a prank call. The woman had fainted in her home and her five-year old called 911 LIKE HE WAS SUPPOSE TO, but because of his age the reciever immediately assumed it was a prank and scolded him for playing on the phone. The kid called three more times over the next two hours. Why they eventually did send cops over to see what happened, I don't know. But by then, it was too late. She died because of negligance on part of the 911 call center.

If it weren't for fuckin' smartasses trying to get a dumb laugh from an EMERGENCY CALL CENTER this kid would still have his mother. But now it's gotten to the point where they first assume it's a prank instead of a real emergency. What's my point? none really. Just ranting.
