Not movies but The Invisibles (comic) and The Prisoner (tv show) both could be felt in Lost. I'd be very surprised if they weren't on shelves in the writers' houses.

Sex and the City 2?

That's equally pointless shit that people will go mental for.

Wow -- you just took all the top ones. I loved Primer (although I typically prefer a little more sexy budget) -- I've seen it probably 12 times, and I'm still having trouble wrapping my head around it although the first cycle of time travel made sense -- its still on my DVR.

I guess all I've got left is Dune & Highlander, both metaphorical with religious undertones, not really any timetravel per se, but immortality, flashbacks, & discussion about space-time.

JJ Abrams cited this an inspiration for the before I believe.

Ah, makes sense. But seriously, someone in the writer room liked some Grant Morrison.

I'm really surprised that Timecrimes hasn't been mentioned yet. If you haven't seen it you definitely should, it's a great time travel movie.

I prefer the theatrical cut, the director's cut labels the mysteries.

Fuck you. Edit your post. Don't degrade good films by mentioning them in threads of bogus shows like Lost.
