Moving To London.

Hey Everyone,

I'm moving to London in 32 days. I've never left Australia and I'm shit scared. I wondered if anyone had any tips on where to look for places to live or what not.

I'm female and 19 by the way. Any help would be great!

Try Gumtree. I got my job and flat through them. You can use tfl to work out how far places are from where you want to be.

You'll probably want to back to AUS pretty quick - London is pretty dirty and as you come from a beautiful country I can see you developing McNally syndrome.

If this happens visit the larger public parks.

If you're leaving AUS completely I'll have your citizenship/apartment/family etc - cheers.

hi this is info from a brit okay the closer to central london the more expensive the place, south could also be more expensive then north london.
but there not all bad if you are willing to hunt or even share.

get a oyster card will save on travel.

and if you have a tv you may need to get a tv licence.

i think that's the basic info for london that i can give.

p.s unsure how much travel from airport will be but see if there is a easy jet bus that you could jump on it about a 10 but that may depend on the airport you are using (may be more).
