Ooda, Hell Yes for listening to Elephant 6 stuff.
I've been into Apollo Sunshine, Buttercup - In Spain, and Voxtrot. I've also been getting into Brian Jonestown Massacre, if you've seen the movie you know who they are. |

Buttercup seem decent. At least judging by the song, it seems like it's worth listening to more. Once the song gets into it, it is pretty good when it settles into rock properly. I still don't know if I'm a fan of the composition, and the way it makes you think the song is over a few times during it. Decent instrumentals. Voxtrot are good, though of the four songs they have up on MySpace, I'd have to say I like the style of Soft and Warm the best. |

haha I haven't listened to Apollo Sunshine since their early demos, I totally forgot about them. Thanks for the reminder.
Look, Myspace is actually good for something. Music with a sense of humor: Kennedy. Most of you probably know Tegan and Sara by now. Stars the Notwist. We should make a forum mix with all the bands mentioned in this thread. And by "we" I mean someone other than me. |
