Need help with a charity event

I am going to ride a bicycle across North Carolina (mountains to coast) to help raise money for a friend who is battling Leukemia. I am trying to find a way to allow people to make donations or pledges online. The few sites I can find are super expensive and would cost more than we could raise.

Any ideas?
