Need some support.

About a week ago, my husband and I found out I was pregnant. We had been trying since June and we were so excited to finally be starting a family. But today, I started spotting really badly. I went to the ER and after 6 hours, I found out that I had had a miscarriage. I always knew that the first trimester is when these things tend to happen and its probably because there was something wrong with the baby, but I just don't know how to take it. I can't stop crying and to make matters worse, my husband (who is in the military) left today for training in Texas. We just moved to Maryland so I don't know anyone and I had to go through all of this alone. I could just use some support right now.

That is terrible! I know that we have never met, but I feel like we know each other, since you and I have been part of KATG for so long. I am SO sorry for your loss and I hope that you can find comfort in this community. It has helped me through some rough times and I know others can say the same. We're here for you. I'm PMing you my #. Don't be afraid to use it. We're a dysfunctional family.

My heart goes out to you. I know many friends who have gone through this and it wasn't easy for them, let alone not having your partner there to lean on. I'm sure there are some support networks that you might just be able to call and off-load onto.

Here's a couple sites that might help for your area;
Local Support « First Candle

It's hard not to sound flippant, but it wasn't the time. Your body knew it, and it'll be ready when everything is good and healthy.

I'm sorry for the news, and I wish you the best.

I'm so sorry, it is 'common' but that certainly doesn't make it any easier. Take as much time you need to rest, you are going through so much and take time for you.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that, and though I don't know you per se, we're bonded by the show, and all of us are here for you. Everything will be okay. I know that this is corny as hell, but it's always darkest before dawn. You've just lived through your darkest hour and now you're on your way to light. Stay strong.

Like everyone else, as a long time member of the forums I do feel like I know you. You've always been one of the nicest/welcoming members on the forums, where most people tend to be assholes. While I'm not religious by any means I do believe that in the end good things come to good people. I can't begin to imagine what you must be going through but I'm confident in saying that this will pass and life will get much better.
