I love this thread!! Since I fired my cable provider in favor of doing strictly streaming on Netflix, this thread is a huge help!!

These are some good suggestions, I think I will check out Special, and wow, did not know Up was streaming.

Another series that is good and is available only via streaming is The Guild. If you like gaming you will like it. I am not much into gaming, but I still love it.

Felicia Day is teh hawt, that is all.

Zombieland (2009): Epic zombie movie, it's hilarious and fun.

Full Metal Jacket (1987): A classic Kubrick film, it focuses on a group of soldiers in boot camp that later go off to Vietnam. It shows the war/military's dehumanization of many characters, but also some parts are just funny (I love the boot camp half).

Precious (2009): I thought this movie was actually pretty good. Girl is abused/neglected by shitty parents and lives in shitty circumstances...she tries to persevere.

Louis CK - Chewed Up (2008): A hilarious stand up routine by possibly my favorite comedian.

Up - (2009): Another Pixar masterpiece, if you've not seen it you'll enjoy it. Maybe even watch with the kids! (If you have kids)

Paper Moon (1973): Pretty good movie about a con-man who befriends a little girl. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll pause to go take a dump, and probably like too.

Special (2006): I really recommend this one, because everyone I've shown it to likes it, so I have confidence in this being one of those "everyone has to like something about it" movies...anyway, it's a really neat movie about a depressed guy who takes some experimental drugs that have the side-effect of making him believe he has super powers.

Shawshank Redemption (1994): Just a classic that you've probably seen but should if you haven't. Perfect movie.

The Princess and the Frog (2009) Disney's first regularly animated film in several years (maybe a decade or more?) it's decent fun, I enjoyed it and basically it's a twist on the princess kissing a frog tale gone a bit wrong, and set in New Orleans (which is fucking cool). The movie could've been done better, I kind of wanted more time with the villain, but still good.

The Exorcist (1973): Classic horror movie, arguably one of the best, ever.

Casino (1995): classic mob movie.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009): a tiny bit ridiculous, but it's a pretty good movie, not great, but worth watching.

The Orphanage (2007): This is another that everyone I've gotten to watch has liked, it's a Spanish thriller about a woman who purchases and renovates the orphanage she grew up in, loses her son, and tries to find him. It's chilling at times, shit will surprise you, and overall, it's very well done imo. It's by the guy that directed Pan's Labyrinth.

Food Inc. (2008): Great documentary about our food, where it comes from, and what not.

The Corporation (2003): Great documentary about corporations and corporate personhood.

...And Justice For All (1979): pretty good Al Pacino movie when he was in his prime, a GOOD lawyer tries to fight for justice in a corrupt legal system. It's pretty bad ass, I think.

Amelie (2001): Great French movie, it's funny and cute. One of my favorites....not top 10, but like...top 100, lol.

Batman: Under the Red Hood (2010): Possibly the best DC animated movie I've seen. Whether you're big into comics or not, as long as you don't mind animated films, this'll be great.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane (1962): Old movie, but it's a classic thriller with good performances by two of classic Hollywood's (former) starlets, Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

All right, that's all, I was gonna add more but this is plenty..lol. Hope you enjoy something in there.

The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia
This is a documentary about a family in WV. I found it quite intriguing and hilarious also. To be clear Whites is a surname.

Add "Louie" to this list.

I would also highly recommend the show "Archer" EDIT!!!! They removed this show from the instant Queue. Sorry to tease.
