Ocean's 13

Anyone see Ocean's 13 yet? I am making movie plans with some friends and this looks like the best option.

Do it! It has George AND Brad in it. No contest.
Just don't expect too much and you should enjoy it.

Yup, eye candy all the way
The heist-plot is for any hapless boys you manage to drag along with you

Such a great point Bebe! Aside from the point that it had Brad & George (DUH!) - I would say that any general mainstream movie should be viewed this way. "Just don't expect too much and you should enjoy it." Movies are supposed to be for entertainment. I think there are too many armchair critics that think every flick has to have some social or political or artsy value to be worth anything.

Whatever happened to just going to the movied for the sake of entertainment?

I say... take a bunch of hunky men with witty temperments and a fun little plan to steal a bunch of money and let them loose in Vegas. Better yet, let me loose in their hotel room and I'll make you one hell of an entertaining film! OW!

Exactly! I am only disappointed by movies that I have really high expectations of. I really like going to mindless-chick-flick type movies, and I have no expectations of these except that the plot will be shite and it will end up happy.

I don't want my movies to always be like real life. That would be depressing.

It seems that it is better than Ocean's 12, so I'll give a try. Plus Ellen Barken is in it.

Yeah 12 was a bit average (luckily I had my 'low-expectation-glasses' on). I loved 11 though. It is very old-style. Cool. I am going to see 13 this week.

My wife and I were big fans of Ocean's 11. It was just a fun movie that looked cool, but didn't have to make much sense. We saw Ocean's 13 last weekend and it was the same, a cool fun to watch movie.
Enjoy
