Good question. My daughter is like a bull in a china shop and this instrument is destined to be broken or lost in some fashion. Plus the monthly rental includes ongoing maintenance and tuning. AND when we're done renting, 75% of the accrued rental fee can be applied to the purchase of any instrument. So essentially, we're making installment type payments now that we can use to buy her a good instrument with later down the line... assuming she sticks with it.

Reading this thread made me realize I've actually done both of my lifelong goals.

1) a MFM threesome (did it once with the ex and a drunken friend about 4 or 5 years ago). I've had FMF threesomes a few times and I'll probably have a few more.

2) Write and draw a graphic novel and get it published. I still have to wait until this spring but this one's in the bag. Even though it took 5 years, it was worth it.

Now I need new goals. I've never been to Europe. I've never killed a person. I haven't been to a red carpet event. Better set my standards a little higher!

Well I guess this one is kind of boring but as a college student I want to graduate, I am a Criminal Justice Major and want to go to law school after my undergrad and graduate studies. As for something original I've always wanted to direct a major hollywood film, I know I'll never get a chance but hey I can dream.

Cave diving go to Central Florida, I dove at Ginny Springs. Ship wreck diving I would recommend Hawai or Bahamas. Bahamas have more sharks, Hawai has more wrecks.

Scuba diving is like an alien experience of exploring some unnatural foreign world. You never know whats around the corner and you never really feel like you belong there. Its really something special (and tragically, also something expensive)

Does anyone want to join for me for a North Bound Appalacian trail thru hike.

It would probably be a spring 2012 departure.

I already have alot of gear and experience, send me a PM or maybe if enough people are interested we could start a thread.

We could dedicate the trip to KATG, and maybe try to make it a fund raiser to get Keith to move out by 2012.
