I'm surprised I never posted in this thread. Wow.

Anywho, I'm in a one-man folk-rock/alternative thing called Trainwreck In Sarasota. I released a 5 song EP a while back called "Something To Call Your Own". I'm in the middle of finishing recordings on my second EP, "The Narrow Escape" which is due for release soon. A few folks on the forums have heard it and like it, so why not?

So take a listen and let me know what you think! If you dig it, PM me and I'll send you the first EP for free (digitally, of course, but it comes with album art and liner notes), the newest EP will probably be a pay-what-you-want type deal, but that'll be decided before i release it officially.

Hey, wow, I never knew this thread existed.

I play keyboards, aux percussion and backup vocals in a R&B/live hip-hop band. We're called the Ill Funk Ensemble. More links are in my sig. I've been running a series of short (30 second) videos which you can find on the youtube link, and the website has the album (streaming for free, or you can buy it of course).

We play mostly around upstate NY, plus we've been playing in Cape Cod every few months. We have played in NYC, but it's next to impossible to book an all-night gig that pays (just too many bands willing to play one set for next to nothing) so we're working on the rest of NY plus VT and MA for now.

She's right, you guys. You get my entire first EP absolutely free. All it asks for is for an email address and postal code (you won't be bombarded with spam, so don't worry about that) and you do have an option to drop some donations my way, which would be amazing. I'm just trying to grow my audience as big as possible before the next EP release, which is a huge deal for me. I haven't had much reaction from KATG fans so much, so hopefully this is some incentive to pick up your copy. Ask anyone who has it (Rhi, Junk, skizzbot, bigjim, uncast, etc...), I really think it has something for everyone, and I hope you enjoy!!

I am a little curious as to why my posts never made it onto this thread?

Anyway, I am a bass player in Athens, GA. My primary band is called The HEAP

I have also toured with Kevn Kinney, Sarah Lee and Johnny Irion

I have also toured with The Violent Femmes

Athens is a great town for music. I hope to make it to a KATG event sometime in the future.

Figured I would resurrect this thread to let everyone know that my 2nd EP, "The Narrow Escape" has been completed and is available for free download on my Noisetrade site. You do have the option of donating, you don't have to but I encourage that you do. Not only does it help me continue to do what I love, but 50% of all proceeds go to Lupus research and advocacy. Necro-ing this thread to give away free music, cause who doesn't like free stuff?

If you go to my bandcamp site, I have both of my EPs for pay what you want (which means free if you like) and I would really appreciate some downloads and some feedback. It's singer/songwriter folk stuff so if you're into that, here you go! I'm working on my 3rd EP and that will be done hopefully soon.

I've got a ton of show dates coming up so if you're in the Tulsa/Stillwater/Tahlequah area, come out, have a beer and say hi!
