Not only do I hate shorthand in blogging and IM messages, but I feel the need to use proper spelling/grammar in away messages. I don't know what the hell my problem is.

The community of the Interweb doesn't care. That's one of the many reasons I love this forum because even on chat if you can't spell...flame city.

I often compose my posts in Word and copy and paste just to correct my terrible spelling. I appreciate that "spelling and grammar count". It adds a level of intelligence in between the FUUUCK YOOUUUs.

Me too. I like that I don't have to constantly think I'm surrounded by 13-year-olds, even if I actually am. For as much fuuuuuuuucccccking as we do here I think it makes us more mature than your average forum. Plus we're called a forum, not a message board; it just sounds classier.

Hi guys,
I was the author of the post and yes my English is Shizen Houzen! It didn't help (but wasn't the only or main reason for the bad spelling and gramma) that I wrote it at about 1am in the Morning. I normally use a blog client that checks spelling on posting.

But more to the point, don't let my poor spelling and gramma take away from the fact that Podshow are evil and yet are the publics face of podcasting!

Molly
PS. Fuck you!!!!

Not to get too off-topic, but I think the best thing about these forums are that the top posters are actually witty!

I'm only 435 posts behind deuce (10th place), so prepare to change you opinion in...say...6 weeks. That'll be 10.38 posts per day...so yeah, no problem.
