We get two weeks' vacation, no sick days. And no holiday bonuses or raises, ever. But I make a good chunk of change, enough that I'm embarrassed by the amount and don't like to share. The world is fucked up when teachers and nurses don't make as much as a glorified transcriptionist. (And my fellow captioners would kick me for saying that, but

I get 10 Sick Days
3 Any use Days
2 weeks at Christmas
3 Days at Thanksgiving
1 Week in the Spring
and 6 Weeks in the Summer.
Oh and I get US Federal Holidays.

Gee looking at that list you almost wonder when I work.

I get a raise every year. OH and my housing is paid for by my work. Life is sweet!
