EXTREME CROTCHET 2018

Whatchoo working on?
I used to crochet quite a bit a few years ago. Scarfs, blankets and amigurumi.
Embroidery thread blanket though - that is either nuts or fucking badass awesome - keep us posted. I'd love to see that.

Right now my main craft is quilting, planning to start up sewing clothing soonish.

And I'm back at crossstiching which I hadn't done in years but I found a pattern that was too great to resist.

Check it out!

Lanfear! Those are killler!
I never learned to cross stitch but I always wanted to. I LOVE the ratty stuff! I had a pet rat (many many throughout me life actually) and those things were hard to find and they love them so much. So cool. Man you do great work.

Cross-stich as a technique is super simple but its very time-consuming and requires a lot of attention to detail. I find it very relaxing to give my brain a rest from spinning thoughts but lots of people don't enjoy that.
Also with Etsy, facebook groups and so on there are a lot of ways to get to cool patterns - no more old-fashioned boring flower stitching.

I sit at computers all day so I enjoy all types of crafting a lot - its so satisfying to actually produce a physical product.
