Also books!

Books are my new thing this year, (challenged myself to read 40 for my 40th year) and I somehow got sucked deep into astrophysics (thanks Neil DeGrasse!)

I didn't even know that was a possibility in my own brain. Granted, I only understand about 30% of what I'm reading, but OMFG it turns out the universe is cool as shiiiiit! We're made of starrrrrrs guys!!! no but like really, we are.

I love science! And books! It's great when authors make it understandable for people who don't know as much as them. Professor Brian Cox is amazing. He's a really lovely British version of NdeGT. He does lots of BBC shows and a podcast called Infinite Monkey Cage you should give a go. He was also in a pop band called D:Ream back in the day 😍

I'm fundraising for a charity trip to Kenya next year so am loom knitting stuff for people. I'm currently making some leg warmers for a friend and did start making a cover for my external fixator on my leg, but it's getting warm now so I don't really need one anymore.

My phone is poo so won't let me upload a pic

I've always loved leg warmers but I wouldn't know how to wear them and not look ridiculous. They're for like... model. And 80s.... models lol

Starting this thread up again because I just played my first show in a long time and it's giving me all sorts of positive energy. SO here's a couple songs I recorded and released back in the fall!

Anyone else with creative juices flowing right now?

Teaching my teen daughter how to work on bicycles. Found this great Gary Fisher frame to restore. Super light-weight. Pick this thing up with your pinky!

I’ve got a chain-break, Allen wrenches, and the basics at home. There’s this cool DIY non-profit bike shop in town. It’s called Freecycles. Fun hang. Everyone’s helpful and excited about bikes.

“Dad. That guy was really excited about me not driving a car.” Yes, honey. These are what you call ‘liberals’ lol

Tampa project.

I don't know if this counts as a project, but I've got an interview in Tampa on Wednesday, August 28 . I'm currently in Somerset County like Keith was. Anyone in Tampa ?Does anyone have any advice on Tampa ? The job would pay $500-650 a a week if I got it. Could I get by on this is Tampa? It looks to me like I would need a roommate, but so far no one has responded to me . Thanks.
