I was gone all weekend so I am excited to see if the games I got are any good and to check out the playstation plus to see if it is worth paying for down the road.

When I saw that we got a free trial of Playstation Plus I got really stoked because there's a couple games you can get FOR FREE with the service, one of them being Sonic the Hedgehog 2 which is definitely in my Top 5 Video Games of ALL TIME.

The only problem is, (and this is just what I understood from reading the details about Plus, if somebody can confirm or tell me I'm wrong, that'd be cool), once you're no longer subscribed to Plus, you can't use anything you got from it. So any free games you get, or free ad-on content, and possibly even games you bought outright!?!? you don't really have access to after those 30 days.

Am I right? Or is it only the free stuff...I don't think I'd buy many/maybe any games out right...I'm just really broke right now and prefer to have physical games anyway rather than just data...but if I do buy a game at a discounted Plus price, do I still have access to it after Plus trial is over, or will I have access as long as I pay the rest of the price now that Plus is gone, or will I keep it forever cause I bought it (the last sounds proper, but I don't know if that's how it is)

Anyway..um yeah that's me on Plus guys. lol

i do not know the answers to your questions but i do not support psn+.
first of all, sony saw all the loot xbl gold was making and said "i want some of that sweet sweet cash" and cobbled together psn+.
i have said several times i do not like xbl gold, as i do not think i should have to pay for the service, but i'll give them that theyve got the only decent friend list system around.

if sony cant even keep their psn- stable and secure, how is psn+ going to be safe?

Yeah I need to get these free games before my time is up. I think what bugged me most about the PSN being down was that Netflix kept annoying me everytime I tried to access it, I could do it fine, because it doesn't need the PSN, but for some reason it kept telling me to sign in/can't sign in/sign in anyway, after some back and forth I could always use it, but it was still annoying.

You lose anything that you got for free when you unsubscribe. If you bought discounted stuff from Plus then you get to keep it, since you actually paid for it.

goddamn piece of shit sony entertainment can go suck zombie dick. transaction records show i bought the 2 free games but i couldnt figure out how to get it. turns out its fucking in some other folder somewhere else, only took me an hour to figure it out.

fuck you sony, this is ever haaaaaaaaaaaaarder then keet trying to add friends to xbox live

I think the same thing happened to me too but I can't figure out how to get my game. I redeemed one game but the second game doesn't show up as purchased. The transaction record shows the 2 passes were redeemed. I gave up after 10 minutes of trying to figure it out.
