Repeatedly having to log on.

Just lately I have to re log on if I leave a page open on the forums for a while. Is this happening to anyone else? Has something changed with the format or has my dimness yet again become evident?

Not happening here. (FF 3.5.3 and OSX 10.6.1).

Did you recently change your cookie settings?

or recently do significant date changes on the computer that might cause the cookies to expire?

if not clear cookies and try again

Thanks. Have checked time and removed cookies. Will see how it goes.

removing the katg cookie is what causes it. If you deleted all your cookies you lost the log on info stored in the browser for every web site.

Right. Have traced the problem I think.

Had a party at our house a few weeks ago and I removed all the remembered passwords from firefox so people wouldn't muck with my stuff. There must be a time out with the forums which firefox used to automatically renew.

Have restored the password within firefox and I seem to be back in business.
