I hate it too. I work with several people who make their shoes squeak when it is rainy, drives me crazy because I can't drown them out by turning my iPod up.

Ha, I dunno if that is the cause of my uncoordinated nature, but it helps as an excuse. To demonstrate how bad of a sense of balance I remember in drivers ed. when we had to fake walk the line like in a field sobriety test once without the drunk goggles and once with. I did so bad without the goggles they didn't let me put them on and my teacher pulled me aside to ask if I was alright o_O good times
