Every once in a while someone will look like someone famous and they will try to make a go of it. Even dragging back someher who is not on the show anymore.

I used to go to a bar where one of the cooks told me that back in the 70's people would leave, watch the show, then come back to drink.

Don't sorta laugh at someone doing sorta a Minnesota accent (the whole cast of Fargo could do Palin) and think SNL is 'quite' funny.

SNL is quite crap. When the Dick Ebersol year is more out there than the current shit, the show is toast.

In short, every time you let them get away with being almost funny, they ride that for 3 or 4 years, even though it was one skit out of a season.

SNL sucks. Period.

then the show went on to suck hard

lil wayne was pathetic, his guitar "playing" was laughable.

the show mostly sucks but once in a while it's good. I DVR it. The show last year with Justin Timberlake was great front to back and you could tell the cast had a ball.

Also notable was the show with John Francis Bongiovi, Jr., the opening with a teenage Amy was precious.

I think what really made it perfect was the accent. Because Sarah Palin and Tina Fey already look like each other, but the accent completed Tina Fey's impression.

I also like when she was "posing" with a gun.
