But, on the serious tip, Keith and Chemda have been open on the why's and where's of this money and entirely generous, gracious, and thoughtful about it. It's not a rip off at all.

A)Most recent shows are free. If you feel like not supporting the show (fucking lame weirdo) you can get them that way.
B)Why wouldnt you want to support the people who have put out such amazing content for so long AND are creating special super tits spinoff projects JUST for the people who are willing to support them in this new way? C)It appears to me that you are trolling a bit since as others have pointed out the answers to your questions have been answered several times in emails, statements on the podcast and a couple other places so there is absolutely no need to start an entirely new thread about this. D)Shush yo face.

While I think it's kind of silly to complain about the VIP situation (it's BONUS content, not the show itself), I do have one suggestion...
I think the KATG Beginnings episodes should be public. I'm not a new listener by any stretch of the imagination, but I would imagine that new listeners just getting into the show wouldn't see the value-add of the VIP service. A lot of what makes the show special are the relationships between the hosts and the guests and the history... it all provides a greater context that could potentially be lost on someone new to the show. Seeing almost 1,600 shows has to be daunting for those just getting into it, and having a quick and easy way to at least get the gist of what's going on would (I think) do them a service. I mean, why would somebody start supporting a show they just started listening to? I'm sure the show is plenty enjoyable out of context, but the HISTORY is (in my opinion) what makes it so special. Just my two cents. I understand and appreciate the pay wall for the exclusive content, and when I'm not in such a monetary rut, I will be subscribing as well (though, my meager $5 monthly donations will NEVER end), but for new listeners, I honestly think the Beginnings episodes are absolutely crucial, not only for context of the show, but context for the community as well.
