Wasting company money on the forums

There's no way I could visit the forums (or any other useful website) while at work. I read a lot of magazines on the company dime, though.

Today I'm away from my desk... I'm sitting at the front desk of the Nature Center I work at, greeting visitors and posting at the same time.

We have phones that are on cat5 lines, so I just unplug the front desk phone and stick it in my laptop... instant KATG on a T1. It makes work SO bearable.

So when someone tries to phone you they get nothing? That's perfect. Maybe if they complain you can get an IT person in there and he won't find anything wrong, then you can complain until you get a T3 installed. The problem is definately the T1. God, I wish I had a T3.
