I've never heard of that before. I'm not sure that would work on a gator. Their skin doesn't strech at all and is very well connected to their body.

That's the first time I've cooked it. Yeah, you can get it at some of the seafood markets. I've had it in restaurants and at family functions, but never cooked it myself. I have a bag of it in my freezer that imma try and make Alligator Sauce Piquante with. (Alligator Stewed in Sauce Piquant Recipe : Emeril Lagasse : Food Network)

I'd be really interested in eating an alligator. It doesn't look like it'd taste like chicken.
