Taken has a very good and nasty first half, becomes very slow in the 2nd one.
But i just loved (SPOILER) How he shot his friend's innocent wife to obtain information. That was so nasty. Seventies style nasty. |

Easy Virtue. Supposedly a sharp and biting satire on upper class English society starring Colin Firth, Kristen Scott Thomas and Jessica Biel, who are all pretty watchable usually but this one was boring as fuck, just an exercise in smugness and smarm, toothless wit and uneven pacing.

The Spiderwick Chronicles - meh. never read the books, but twas entertaining. freddie highmore with an american accent is awkward. and i can't imagine nancy botwin (mary louise parker) in anything other than 'weeds'...but it happened. and that too, was awkward.
