20 years means anything before 1991. Damn I feel old...

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
It is pretty accessible for everyone (you don't need to be a stoner) and it flows together from beginning to end (you don't get that very often in current music)

The Beatles - Revolver

Rush - 2112

Nirvana - Nevermind (19 years old, but close enough)

Pixies - Surfer Rosa

Maybe these aren't for everyone, but if you are into the genre...

Thomas Dolby - The Flat Earth

Barenaked Ladies - Gordon

Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill

Depeche Mode - Music for the Masses

Devo - Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo

Dire Straits - Dire Straits

The Human League - Dare

Jimi Hendrix Experience - Are You Experienced?

Squeeze - Singles: 45's and Under

Working from the flavor of your list-

Elvis Costello - My Aim is True
The Clash - London Calling
Love and Rockets - Express
Tears for Fears - The Hurting
The Art of Noise - Who's Afraid of...
New Order - Substance
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Once Upon a Time
Dead Kennedys - Fresh Fruit for Rotting Vegetables
Bad Religion - How Could Hell be Any Worse?
Minor Threat - Complete Discography
Erik B. & Rakim - Paid in Full
Jane's Addiction - Nothing's Shocking
Faith No More - The Real Thing

Also seconding FreydNot's list - though I'd sub Paul's Boutique for Licensed to Ill.

It might be cheating to include a few compliations in there but they were all released over 20 years ago and were in my heavy rotation back then. I'm old.

I hope you aren't giving Apple your money for your explorations. Rhapsody is great.

I considered Paul's Boutique, but I thought Licensed to Ill was more accessible to people who aren't already super into Beastie Boys. Myself, I really dig In Sound From Way Out, but its a bit out there.

You kids have some good taste in music.

Loveless- My Bloody Valentine (not quite 20, but still )
3 Feet High and Rising- De la Soul
Nebraska- Bruce Springsteen
Tago Mago- Can (definitely for my fellow Sonic Youth/experimental fans.)
Loaded- Velvet Underground
The Trinity Session- Cowboy Junkies

If anyone's interested, I have a ton of psychedelic nuggets that I'll be happy to share. Just PM your email.
