Here is a recent article on CNet. If you try to share any music you bought on iTunes, or even move it to another computer you own, you need your password... and you can only move it 5 times.

The guys at CNet are really pushing sites like eMusic... no DRM... you can use the music any way you want.... but I haven't found anything I wanted there yet. That's why I wanted to get some suggestions for bands that I don't know (ie, your other thread).
thank you

iTunes is the devil. im amazed how awesome people think apple is and how great they think iTunes is. its the most non modular POS ive ever dealt with. iTunes is why i wont buy stock in apple, that narrow minded, only works on our equipment mentality is not the way of the future. remember minidiscs? yeah, same thing.

bite me apple, it pisses me off that i bought music, its on my ipod, and when i wanna play it on my computer, from the ipods HD, too bad, unless im usin apples software.

also, i voted for george bush.

I've had an iPod for a while and thank God for Apple Care the 40 gb 4th gen is the most unreliable POS I've ever seen. I'm going back to creative when my Apple Care is over.

I don't have an ipod and I won't. I use my Treo 650 or I have a Creative Muvo for wma files. I refuse to use iTunes also. I don't buy music. And I use iPodder to download podcasts.

actually, i have adopted a personal style in writing, as an expression of my own philosophical beliefs. it may detract from my message, but i have taken pains in establishing rules to ensure the actual communication of my ideas are not degraded in any way. for instance, though there may be no common rule forcing double spaces between sentences, i use them without fail, as without them, my lack of capitalization could impede the viewers reading ability.

how serious you take it is up to you, but its an expression of art, not sloth.
