Starting the new church soloist job on Thursday night. Interviewed/auditioned today and got the job on the spot. Hooray me. If only Hot Dougs wasn't closed for vacation. I could have had my celebratory cased meat lunch.

Played a christian rock studio gig last weekend to help a friend out. Told the manager I was an atheist and he threw me out of the session. Looking forward to going back and finishing the work for twice the money due to contract violation on their part. Silly religious people.

I'm looking forward to seeing a pre-screening of "Where the Wild Things Are" tonight (along with a Q&A session with co-writer Dave Eggers afterward). Should be a good time.

I'm also looking forward to October 1 which is the 1 year anniversary in my current job. I should be looking at a pretty juicy pay increase.
Just found out that I pulled a 10% raise and I couldn't be happier.

No news on whether or not the IUI took but there is a blood test scheduled for the 16th and we'll be able to find out then.
