Where to sell laptop?

So apparently eBay is swarming with scammers, so it's probably better to stay away. Have any of you sold your laptops recently? If so, where?

You can do ebay but and or craigslist. If you are worried about being scammed just make it a cash deal. Say you will not ship it under any circumstances. They don't get it until they put the bills in your hand.

Since you live in New Jersey the online hits to craigslist or ebay from people willing to travel to you goes up with the population. I've sold things this way with no problem.

Just stick to your plan no matter what and don't ship it.

How would cash only work? Would they physically have to meet me and give me cash? How about sending a check and having me cash it?

You should probably use Craigslist. That way you don't have to worry about shipping.

I've sold through ebay, granted it wasn't a laptop, but everything was fine.

As long as you wait until payment is confirmed into your bank account/paypal before you ship, you should be fine.

My personal choice is ebay. 1/3 of the time when I set up a deal on craigslist to meet and do it in person the people no show. (Screwed me 3 times selling tickets to things and got stuck with them)
