Although I do care about restaurant cleanliness, I can't say it'd keep me from enjoying a night out at one of my favorite eateries. Then again, when I was younger I found a broken off press-on nail in the middle of my Taco-Bell hard taco, and after breaking away the section that the nail was in, I actually finished the taco. Yes, it's disgusting, but I figured what the hell...I ate the first half without knowing what I was about to find and absolutely LOVED IT!

Texas Flag:
New York Flag: ![]() Kind of unfair to expect people to remember the New York one. There's a fucking wizard hat on a pole, a dropped crown, and Latin. Last edited by DWarrior; 07-29-2010 at 09:04 PM. |

At the very end of the report on the fireman's wife the reporter says:
"[Nikki] now says that she was born with genitals of neither a man, nor a woman." From that statement, she is some kind of third gender (intersex, born with ambiguous genitalia). That would completely change the story: - Her original birth certificate might say male, but she may have developed dominantly female (e.g. vagina + rudimentary penis + breasts + no facial hair); - Her birth certificate may have been changed on other grounds than a sex change; - She could have legally changed her sex to female before surgery and marriage; - Any operation would not have been a sex-change procedure per se; - Her husband may theoretically not have been able to tell that she is third gender. Either way, both reporting and law suit seem very misleading, biased, discriminatory and foul. |

Does this study on musical preference a relates to intelligence factor in how many of these Beethoven listeners lack any kind of social skills? I'd bet that 9 out of 10 times I'd rather hang out with a Beyonce fan over a Beethoven fan.

keith claims USA to be the greatest country in the world. I live here, and i love it as well. BUT, he dismisses switzerland because they stayed neutral and its banks horded nazi money and gold stolen from the jews during WW2. he "hasn't forgotten" about that. but he seems to have forgotten about the settlers who founded the USA having committed a genocide of their own against the Native Americans, which in sheer numbers, exceeds the jewish holocaust of the 20th century. and that little thing called slavery. either way, i'm not dismissing any of these horrible events, i just think if you want to talk about past atrocities, let's look at the WHOLE picture, and not "forget" how neither country is all innocent

Plus you kinda make a great case for why America is so great. This country nearly exterminated a native population, enslaved another race, and yet still it's the best country in the world. Can you imagine how awesome the US would be if that hadn't happened? It would be ridiculous. Last edited by King of Assholes; 07-30-2010 at 09:51 AM. |

These studies are shit, they wrap anecdotal evidence in overly precise numbers and present it as a study. |

The American genocide of the Native Americans is staggering and hard to reconcile with our generally positive view of ourselves, but since we got away with it we try to ignore it when slinging mud. Last edited by hayroob; 07-30-2010 at 11:24 AM. |
